I've installed the linux_base by adding "-noscripts" at the
RPMFLAGS-Section of the Makefile. I don't know whether it's a hack
or not, but until now it works for me.

The following ports are installed and functional:
linux-sun-jdk-1.4.2.05 Sun Java Development Kit 1.4 for Linux
linux_base-7.1_7    The base set of packages needed in Linux mode
de-staroffice-7.0_3 Wordprocessor/dbase/spreadheet/drawing/chart
acroread-5.09       View, distribute and print PDF documents

And linux-eagle-4.13 is installed without ports and works also.
