Subject:   Problems with Ghostscript5 and mysql in ports.

on a make install in ghostscript5 I got the following
with Current of May 6, 1998 but with ports updated this
morning.

./echogs -e .dev -a- pdf -include func ttfont type2
cc  -O -pipe -c gdevpipe.c
./echogs -e .dev -w- -l-obj pipe gdevpipe.o
./echogs -e .dev -a- pipe -iodev pipe
make: don't know how to make .dev. Stop
*** Error code 2

Stop.
*** Error code 1

Stop.
*** Error code 1

Stop.

Any ideas?


With mysql, I had to compile it from the work/mysql
directory with ./configure --with-named-thread-libs='-lc_r '
and at least it compiled with no complaints.  I'll 
see if it works in the morning. 

>From the ports directory it wanted to use the mit threads
that are included and couldn't compile them.  Has anyone
else seen this?



The good news is that the following installed out of the box :-)
