Hmm. Based on my own poudriere-devel based bulk build
(not a "-a" build):

# ~/fbsd-based-on-what-commit.sh -C /usr/ports

# uname -vmp
FreeBSD 15.0-CURRENT main-n271137-d68d12481778 GENERIC-NODEBUG arm armv7

# rustc -V
rustc 1.79.0 (129f3b996 2024-06-10) (built from a source tarball)

(So, such is buildable and installable for main-armv7-default
([a.k.a. latest] .)

By contrast, the official distribution of main-armv7-default
packages installs:

# rustc -V
rustc 1.77.0 (aedd173a2 2024-03-17) (built from a source tarball)
