Microsoft product manager Ed Muth confirmed the document's authenticity, but says it does not represent Microsoft's position or strategy in regard to open-source software. [snip] So looks like it might well be for real. Doesn't make it an accurate assement of the state of Open Source Software, but it does make it an interesting explanation of MickySofts world view...
