I have created a port for the unpost program. This program can extract
binary files from multi-segment uuencoded USENET postings or Email.
Although, some news readers can do this also, it is still usefull if
you have a large collection of unsorted files (like a news spool
directory for alt.binaries.*). The program is also reasonable smart
in finding out which segments belong together
Two remarks:
1) Have a look at the copyright notice in unpost.1, I'm not sure if an
entry in LEGAL is necessary.
2) There is only a formatted manpage, I'm not sure if I handled this
correctly in the Makefile
