"30%-what/70%-why" rule violation.  Could be easily avoided having to look
up the PR back log if commit log had included the following text from it:

  Without pinentry, you can't decrypt, because gnupg has no mechanism for
  collecting your passphrase. So unless you want to treat your encrypted
  files as write-only memory, pinentry needs to be an unconditional
  dependency.
