Well I agree, but they are not going to hold on to it forever when MPLS comes out in Linux which I am sure will happen, then their advantage will be lessened on that side, I don't think their only advantage comes from their software the hardware architecture (ASICS et all) is also clearly a differentiation point. Of course one can argue that their software and their algorithms may also be better implemented than a linux or freebsd solution, but that is not sure.
