The QS3000 obviously has a different "name", both human (sales) wise as (either) isapnp or pci wise. We need to add that different name to the appropriate driver to make it accept that card, then, as you say, it should just work. So someone having that card should just post his verbose boot message or pnpinfo output and we will be set.
