Last week my work was focusedon finding bug in omap_ehci driver. The issue is, I cannot reset the ULPI by software. Further investigation showed up, that, there is a bit which indicates if ULPI is busy or has done its job. It indicates being busy even before the driver begin doing its job. I was pointed, that, beside resetting the PHY by gpio, I could also power down it by PMIC, and this is what I am doing at the moment. Moreover, I have found, that two years ago, somebody had the exact same problem, and posted it on beagleboard mailing list (without any responses nor solutions). I sent an email to him, and waiting for the response. If powering off and on the device will not fix the problem, I will discuss further plans with my mentor. I can either: * do the refactoring of the existing code, and then come back to omap_ehci driver even if GSoC is finished, because I still want to develop this port * continue working on omap_ehci -- regards aleek
