I compiled the port last weekend, but could not install it due to the Problem: "sed: lstat: No such file or directory". I planned to submit a bug report. Today I cvsup'd the updated Makefile, and the make install succedded immediatedly. There seems to be another little problem: > kraft@kocher$ soffice > .: Can't open /usr/local/OpenOffice.org1.1.0/program/freebsd-local.sh: No such +file or directory freebsd-local.sh is installed in /usr/local/OpenOffice.org1.1.0. (I created a symbolic link, so it isn't any more a problem for me, personally.) I guess a small change of the main Makefile will solve this problem. I guess, these points can not be fixed by simple Makefile changes: 1) I tried to setup in ~/.Oo instead of ~/OpenOffice.org1.1.0. This resulted in > kraft@kocher$ soffice > mv: rename /home/kraft/OpenOffice.org1.1.0/tmp/Common.xcu to +/home/kraft/OpenOffice.org1.1.0/user/registry/data/org/openoffice/Office: No +such file or directory and openoffice aborted. My solution was to accept the default directory ~/OpenOffice.org1.1.0. 2) The symbolic link "soffice" is created in /usr/bin instead of /usr/local/bin, which would be preferable on a standard FreeBSD box. But the most important thing: My self-compiled OpenOffice.org 1.1 RC4 is running! Thank your for your contributions!
