This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ------=_NextPart_000_0024_01C0AD9C.FA6E2600 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Here's one for you guys. 'ping ftp.freebsd.org' works just beautifully 'nslookup ftp.freebsd.org' returns my ISPs DNS servers correctly however... 'ftp ftp.freebsd.org' returns an error of "ftp.freebsd.org: = non-recoverable failure in name resolution'. however, if I ftp to the IP it works fine. Does ANYONE have a line on = this?! Thanks ------=_NextPart_000_0024_01C0AD9C.FA6E2600 Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META http-equiv=3DContent-Type content=3D"text/html; = charset=3Diso-8859-1"> <META content=3D"MSHTML 5.50.4522.1800" name=3DGENERATOR> <STYLE></STYLE> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=3D#ffffff> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>Here's one for you = guys.</FONT></DIV><FONT=20 face=3DArial size=3D2> <DIV><BR>'ping <A href=3D"ftp://ftp.freebsd.org'">ftp.freebsd.org'</A> = works just=20 beautifully</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>'nslookup <A href=3D"ftp://ftp.freebsd.org'">ftp.freebsd.org'</A> = returns my=20 ISPs DNS servers correctly</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>however...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>'ftp <A href=3D"ftp://ftp.freebsd.org'">ftp.freebsd.org'</A> = returns an error=20 of "ftp.freebsd.org: non-recoverable failure in name resolution'.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>however, if I ftp to the IP it works fine.
