Well - I'm setting up some semi-automated things regarding CDROMs, and if the system goes down; I'd like the cdrom automatically mounted. (If a CD isn't in the drive, the mount could simply fail.) So; I added an etry to /etc/fstab like: /dev/cd0a /cdrom cd9660 r 0 0 from which 'mount' complains: fstab: /etc/fstab:5: Inappropriate file type or format For version 2.1 (or what ever is next) could we consider augmenting /etc/fstab to handle this? Also, how about msdosfs, etc... - Thanks - - Dave R. -
