I turn ON disconnect for that drive only, and timeouts have gone away. And i do have two other seagates in there, same model, and those don't like disconnect. ( also have two ibm 4 gigs, 3 quantum 4 gigs ) OS is linux 1.3.33 standard, i do think i have bios version 1.25 tho, or maybe thats 3940 uw, i forgot, too many cards. > > > > In the meantime, I found a way to stop the timeouts occure.
