You might want to start by getting rid of all the network card drivers for
which there is no corresponding hardware on your system. You have a whole
bunch of ISA cards in there and PCI cards which your system couldn't use.
After that you may wish to do 'make kernel' instead of just 'make' ('make'
will compile the kernel and all of the modules).
