Hi, Herk.  BSD's not here, so I'm answering.  ;-)  (Actually, anyone who 
reads this mailing list - thousands of people - might have answered.  
Things are a bit more, ah, *decentralized* than in the MS world.  Also, 
you may want to turn off Outlook Express' HTML-mail-by-default 
"feature" for future posts here.  Not mandatory, but highly desirable.)

On the FBSD 4.4 four-CD set, the version of XFree86 that you're first 
asked if you want to install is 3.3.6, which won't work with your card.  
However, there is a 4.x version of XFree86 among the optional 
packages available on the CD set that does support the GeForce2.  So 
your original installation should be without X, and then you'll want to 
add the 4.x package.
