Yes, but in this case this file can be ignored, unless you want to run `make

Not defending the use of cpio, let's forget that.

This seems to cover all scenarios, thank you =3D)

I've tested on:
    11.3, 12.1, CURRENT (amd64, i386)
    12.1 arm64.aarch64 using native-xtools
    12.1 mips.mips64 using native-xtools

jbeich@, could you run your tests again, please?
