Hey all. Back with another question regarding dhclient.

I'm seeing something wierd in my security output mailing from the
faith0 interface. I never heard peep from it before. AFAIK, it's a
virtual interface. It looks like this:

faith0: flags=8041<UP,RUNNING,MULTICAST> mtu 1500
        inet6 fe80::2a0:c9ff:fe74:1248%faith0 prefixlen 64 scopeid 0x7
        inet 0.0.0.0 netmask 0xff000000

This is what I see in the security output:

> Dec 15 19:04:52 keyslapper dhclient: send_packet: Address family not supported by protocol family
> Dec 15 19:04:52 keyslapper natd[34278]: failed to write packet back (No route to host)
> Dec 15 19:05:00 keyslapper dhclient: send_packet: Address family not supported by protocol family
> Dec 15 19:05:30 keyslapper last message repeated 2 times
> ipfw: 64000 Deny UDP 0.0.0.0:137 0.255.255.255:137 out via faith0
> ipfw: 64000 Deny UDP 0.0.0.0:137 0.255.255.255:137 out via faith0

I get several more of the 'send_packet: Address family not supported
by protocol family' messages, but the ipfw Deny messages are well into
the hundreds.

I don't know if the natd entry is relevant at all. I don't think the
maching being translated was up when these entries happened.

If anyone has any ideas, I'm all ears (or eyes, since this is a visual
media :)

Thanks.
Lou
