This idea behind this resource is to consolidate information about all FreeBSD related projects (ongoing, suspended, proposed, etc.) in one place and give people who work on each project the ability to create and change any information about the project as well as allowing anyone to find projects needing help and contact people efficiently. If you're participating in some project related to FreeBSD, just visit the server and leave information about yourself. Who knows, maybe some time someone will write you and say "Wow! It's exactly that I need!" or "It's exactly what I want to write!" :-) If you're planning to initiate a new project, but you need information, volunteers, etc. -- go and create a new record in the Projects database. The FreeBSD Projects Server allows people to store any links to useful resources relating to a project. The FreeBSD Projects Server allows any project manager to request any kind of help from the community -- docs, info, hardware, etc. And who knows, maybe someone will appear on your horizon and say "I have what you want!" If you have the ability to help -- visit the server regular and review the contents of the "Need" sections. And last, feel free to forward this letter to anyone who is involved in any kind of FreeBSD related projects, or kindly ask them to visit the URL below and leave information about their work. FreeBSD Projects Server -- http://phantom.cris.net/freebsd/projects/ Please forward all comments, suggestions or problems with this resource to Alexey Zelkin . --- Thanks to: * NetBSD Project -- for original idea of this resource * Mike Smith, Sheldon Hearn and other FreeBSD developers -- for their comments and suggestions. * CRIS.NET -- for support of this project -- /* Alexey Zelkin && phantom@cris.net */ /* Tavric National University && phantom@crimea.edu */ /* http://www.ccssu.crimea.ua/~phantom && phantom@FreeBSD.org */ To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-doc" in the body of the message
