I hope this helps. I installed the nvidia-driver-96xx because when I installed the latest one it said that my chipset wasn't supported. Actually, I think that the suggestions from Mike helped. I added the option in my xorg.conf file that says to use the nvidia agp drivers before using the kernel agp.ko. Andy
