I don't know if it will let me print plain text, but I don't see why it wouldn't (maybe it only wants hp/pcl). In any case, when I print, all I get is gobbldygook (technical term for junk). Questions: is there a HP/PCL driver available for FreeBSD? Has anyone else been able to make this work? TIA, Matt G.
