POLA overrides CVS history. I expect there to be a port called "postgresql"
just as there is a port called "xmms", "ethereal", and "tcpshow". I shouldn't
be expected to know what the current version of the software is.

I just might.

There are multiple versions of bash currently in our ports tree. If we ever
retire ports/shells/bash1, I'd expect that we just would have a port called
ports/shells/bash.
