I have an older version - 0.99.10_5 - of mplayer installed. It built without any problems. For some reason, the latest version - 0.99.10_6 - will not build. I have updated the ports tree several times. In addition to using the usual 'make' command, I have attempted to use both 'portupgrade' and 'portmanager' to build the port. They all fail at exactly the same spot. //QUOTE// In file included from cabac.c:32: cabac.h: In function `get_cabac_noinline': cabac.h:513: error: can't find a register in class `GENERAL_REGS' while reloading `asm' gmake[1]: *** [cabac.o] Error 1 gmake[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/ports/multimedia/mplayer/work/MPlayer-1.0rc1/libavcodec' gmake: *** [libavcodec/libavcodec.a] Error 2 *** Error code 2 Stop in /usr/ports/multimedia/mplayer. //END QUOTE// I have a stock /etc/make.conf file. No special CFLAGS or anything like that. I have posted a copy of the last build attempt.
