Hi All I inherited an Olivetti LXX5010 that had a QIC tape built in which I (naturally) loaded FreeBSD on. I Understand that the workstations shipped with them. Upon boot it seems that tape drive is seen: wt0 at 0x300-0x301 irq8 drq1 on isa wt0 : type <Wangtek> However, I can't use the device without getting xx : /dev/wt0: No such file or directory even after doing MAKEDEV wt0 in /dev. Any ideas what I'm missing and how I can get the drive to work. I am running 2.2.8-RELEASE.
