Then I used it with 'stable-supfile' 'src=all' from cvsup7 Things seemed to go swimmingly. After lots and lots of file updates make buildworld and make installworld executed without any errors. I attempted to rebuild the kernel with the existing configuration file, but it failed with errors: quotes are now required around some options which weren't before. Using GENERIC as the source makes but won't boot. Adding quotes to the previous configuration file won't make. There is no LINT file (even in i386/conf where I would have been surprised to find Alpha info) I was (am?) running 4.0-19991225-CURRENT Is this enough information for someone to tell me what's wrong (and how to fix it)?
