Hello ! I'm running FreeBSD-4.7-STABLE and I own a Creative Webcam3 (ov511+). I wanted to know if it was possible to: - do visioconference (with gnomemeeting for instance) - record little videos Until now, the only thing I've been able to do is capture an image using vid: # vid --device-name=/dev/ugen0 > picture.png For information: # usbdevs -v Controller /dev/usb0: addr 1: self powered, config 1, UHCI root hub(0x0000), Intel(0x0000), rev 1.00 port 1 addr 2: power 500 mA, config 1, OV511+ Camera(0xa511), OmniVision(0x05a9), rev 1.00 port 2 powered # dmesg | grep ugen ugen0: OmniVision OV511+ Camera, rev 1.00/1.00, addr 2 Thanks in advance for your answers.
