Ocasionally FreeBSD runs the first boot after new install (I even remove the NONDOS partition mount a DOS partition, format & scandisk) between re-installations) I've been using DOS since version 2.1. Never boots without DUMPS the on the third boot and half the time the second boot fail miserably. The system is a FIC VA-503+ motherboard, AMD K6-2 3D NOW 500Mhz, 128 Meg RAM. 8.4 gig ATA HD as C: and a 2.5 gig HD (where I attempt to run FreeBSD) as D: or ATwhatever1. >How-To-Repeat: Install Freebsd 4.0 i386. Maybe Linux works! >Fix: Continue to use windows >Release-Note: >Audit-Trail: >Unformatted: To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-bugs" in the body of the message
