Well, http://www.bartleby.com/61/ which says it is =20 The American Heritage=AE Dictionary of the English Language:=20 =46ourth Edition. 2000. says VERB: Inflected forms: trav=B7eled or trav=B7elled, trav=B7el=B7ing or trav=B7el= =B7ling, trav=B7els or trav=B7els Note "traveled" comes first. This is certainly the form this United States of America native would expect. I note this is a reasonably authoritative souce, and is available on line. -LenZ-
