Log:
  Enable the introduction.  The structure has been changed somewhat to
  give credit to the compilers.  The introduction is more general, and I
  signed it because I think these reports should not be anonymous.
  Ideally, they will be written by a variety of people, and point out
  different aspects of the project each time.
