Hello!

I purchased FreeBSD 3.0 but I am not able to install it because it
crashes after detecting my secondary IDE controller.
wdc1 is detected correctly and my CD which is connected to that
controller is also detected correctly but then the installer crashes at
the blue screen "probing devices". When I disable the wdc1 device but
leave the CD drivers on. It goes thru but then I get the message "no CD
ROM drives found"
I own a gigabyte LX440 Motherboard, with Award BIOS from 7/27/98
I guess this is a bug.
Thanks
Alex
P.S: If it is not. Help with this problem is greatly appreciated.
