I'd say an essential option having finally discovered that all the lost data
and updates that spasmodically disappear from NTFS drives appears to have b=
een
gvfsd-trash preventing the system writing to the drive for days or weeks. I=
 can
live with it stealing memory for a while but when a UPS fails and you loose
everything you'd been doing since gvfsd-trash began running, its a tad mind
blowing.
