Can you please do some changes: * reconfigure the console to be 80x50 or 80x60? That way we can see the whole panic message * can you please add some printfs() ? Just so we know the value of the parameters being passed into that function? It sounds like once the NIC goes into a "funny" state, it's corrupting something (which may be the symptom; may be the problem) and free'ing the TX/RX buffer ring contents is failing. Adrian
