The following reply was made to PR ports/89228; it has been noted by GNATS. From: Alex Samorukov <samm@os2.kiev.ua> To: bug-followup@FreeBSD.org, moonshade@pnhz.kz Cc: Subject: Re: ports/89228: security/clamav: clamd with libunrar dies on non-first parts of multivolume rar achive Date: Fri, 17 Mar 2006 11:22:37 +0200 The bug itself is not in the clamav or libunrar. It seems to be one of the KSE threads bugs. I can repeat it on my FreeBSD 5.3 installation, on 5.4 and 6 all work just fine. Workaround is to link clamd with -lc_r instead of pthread library. Another problem is that system libtool remove -lc_r flag from the link libs, so its not very easy for now. Bundled libtool is hacked to allow it, so i`ll make another PR to use it instead of system one. Please, test this solution and report if this solve your problems. -- Best regards, Alex Samorukov, SAMM1-RIPE Zend Certified PHP Engineer
