Date: Mon, 19 Jan 1998 13:39:58 -0800 X-Mailer: Internet Mail Service (5.5.1960.3) Sender: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk I dig freebsd and you fellas are doing onee hell of a job, so keep it up..! One problem I noticed " After you have formatted the floppies, you will need to copy the files onto them. The distribution files are split into chunks conveniently sized so that 5 of them will fit on a conventional 1.44MB floppy. Go through all your floppies, packing as many files as will fit on each one, until you have got all the distributions you want packed up in this fashion. Each distribution should go into a subdirectory on the floppy, e.g.: a:\bin\bin.aa, a:\bin\bin.ab, and so on. " >From Floppy install docs on web page, you forgot to state that bin.inf needs to reside in this dir too (for the first disk! the on disk docs state this, so this must just have been an accidental ommission. Thanks Brian Wehrle
