However, I'm running a FreeBSD 6.2 system, and I've got an Adaptec AFW-4300. I've placed it in the computer, and booted. The card is seen and assigned fwohci0 and firewire0 and all that. Then it says a bus reset is issued, and shortly after an "unrecoverable error" from fwohci0. I know this isn't much information, but I feel like it may be a DOA card. I'm not sure, so I posted here. At any rate, I've googled for some information about other people using this card in FreeBSD, but I've come up with nothing but one thread that even mentions this card: http://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/freebsd-firewire/2006-November/000529.html Is this card DOA, or is it simply unsupported? If it's unsupported, what are the chances of it being supported? Thanks, Chris
