Sketch (built by /usr/ports/graphics/sketch) would not start up for me
either:

I'm not sure, if this Python or libc_r problem. Could the reason be, not
all of  the libraries  involved are built  thread-safe? It  uses plenty,
including Jpeg, Tk...
