No. the problem is with the previous version of gs.  portupgrade
deinstall it after update gsfonts.  And the fonts 'blow up'.

But I don't known any way to solve this.  You _must_ force reinstall gs
& gsfonts.

And this must be noted on UPDATING. I can't mail to freebsd.org, can you
forward this to ports@freebsd.org?
