Here's what I've now placed in root crontab for ndc: # Start ndc on reboot @reboot /bin/ln -sf /etc/namedb/var/run/ndc /var/run/ndc =20 So from what I now understand, I can simply run: "ln -sf /etc/namedb/var/run/ndc /var/run/ndc" and ndc status should return some meaningful information?
