I forgot to mention that my make.conf has these defined (however redundant = or ridiculous): JAVA_PREFERRED_PORTS=3D JAVA_PORT_NATIVE_OPENJDK_JDK_1_8 JAVA_PORT_VERSION=3D 1.8+ JAVA_DEFAULT?=3D 1.8+ OVERRIDE_JAVA_VERSION=3D 1.8+ JAVA_OS=3D native JAVA_VERSION=3D 1.8+ JAVA_VENDOR=3D openjdk I wonder if these may have caused breakage yet I expect not since you advis= e that ports download the pre-compiled *.jar. Let me know if there's anything I can help with. Regards. PS: Please CC my email when responding, mail from list is not delivered.
