Message-ID: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII Sender: owner-questions@freebsd.org X-Loop: FreeBSD.org Precedence: bulk Hi, [Please Cc an answer to me and the list]. I can type ISO chars using ALT+key and SHIFT+ALT+key in other applications and they display fine, but Netscape 3.01 eats all the ISO chars even if I paste them. Any ideas ? Netscape does display ISO in the HTML and in the form boxes if the html source puts it there, so the problem is just inputting it. this is with FreeBSD 2.1.7 and the default X that comes with it. BTW, I gave up on Netscape 4.0b2 with FreeBSD. Damn thing falls over every few minutes and uses memory as if we've all got a Gb each. And the newsreader interface is now rediculously complicated. I digress. thanks in advance. -- Rob Hartill Internet Movie Database (Ltd) http://us.imdb.com/Oscars/oscars_1996 - hype free Oscars (R) info. http://us.imdb.com/usr/sweepstake - Win a 56k X2 modem.
