Why, i dont know why it just does. (Perhaps Intel is based for Windows, and AMD isnt, but thats just speculation =) Anyays AMD is better for me. Better for the servers i run, better for the lab i run. =) hope that answers it. Also look out for the new AMD chip, something like 5ghz with no fan 4 floating points. (i know i thought the 5ghz was a typo too ;) something like $700 each.
