Where's the normal location to start bootparamd?

I haven't found it in any of the following:

/etc/inetd.conf
/etc/rc.conf
/etc/defaults/rc.conf
/etc/rc.network

nor in the associated man pages.

I'm trying to boot a VME board from my FreeBSD system...
