I agree, and I'm sorry that so many of your ports have been delayed
for so long.  I think it truly is because of the limited number of
people available to test them.  How comfortable are you with CVS?  It
would seem to me that the ideal answer is for you to become a
committer and bring in your own ports directly.

Not at all.  We need to make this process work for everyone or we're
not doing our jobs. :)
