https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=204029 Bug ID: 204029 Summary: multimedia/oscam: New Port Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: freebsd-ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: franz@bett.ag Created attachment 162461 --> https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=162461&action=edit oscam port shar OScam is a softcam, software to be used to decrypt digital television channels on a settopbox (receiver), as an alternative for a conditional access module (CAM). OScam is, compared with other softcams (CCcam, mgcamd, etc.), open source. What it is used for: Imagine you have 2 or 3 TVs in your home, while you only get 1 card from your favorite digital television network. This helps in sharing that card among multiple Televisions. Details: This port leverages a patch for FreeBSD found on https://github.com/beam/oscam (and states so in the patch header), while using the official SVN repo to create the dist-tarball. The dist-gen/tarball file is currently hosted with me, as they do not distribute source tarballs, only SVN or precompiled binaries. (i didn't find any other trustworthy source). Also the version is actually 1.20-unstable-svn0, but i am not allowed to use - in PORTVERSION. Thanks for your consideration.
