The Xitel DG1 is a standard usb audio device, with usb on one end and spdif on the other. It's also external, which seems to cut down on machine noise/pci bus. (compared to my SBLive). It looks like openbsd has a generic usb driver that reportedly works- it would be nice if I could use freebsds as well. -b > > > Ok.
