Ok, I booted into Win98 and used Compaq's diagnostics to get my IRQ list.
Here's what it shows

- System Timer
- Keyboard
- "Programmable interrupt controller"
- Infared port
- COM1
- Meastro DOS Games/FM devices
- Floppy controller
- Printer port
- CMOS/RTC
- SCI IRQ used by ACPI bus
- None
- A ton of stuff
- Compaq EasyPoint IV
- Numeric data processor
- Primary IDE
- Secondary IDE

So it looks like there's one free IRQ, but that will have to get assigned
to the PCMCIA controller itself, right? Leaving none free for the card?
