I am trying to get logging information out of unbound on my workstation in an effort to determine why it stop resolving. I am not getting the configuration right and I cannot see any reason why what I am doing should not be accepted. My logging configuration file is /var/unbound/conf.d/logging.conf. Its contents are: /v/u/c/logging.conf 1 # unbound logging configuration 2 # mount -t devfs devfs /etc/unbound/dev 3 server: 4 use-syslog: no 5 logfile: log/unbound.log 6 verbosity: 3 I have mounted the dev fs using 'mount -t devfs devfs /etc/unbound/dev' which results in: devfs on /var/unbound/dev (devfs, local, multilabel). I do not get any errors from unbound-checkconf and the local_unbound service starts but there is no logfile created; at least none where I expect it to be (/var/unbound/log/unbound.log). What am I missing? -- *** e-Mail is NOT a SECURE channel *** Do NOT transmit sensitive data via e-Mail Do NOT open attachments nor follow links sent by e-Mail James B.
