But, neither of these minor mistakes should cause this message: Paredes> (date) (machine) getty: /dev/ttyd2: DEvice not Paredes> configured. Despite all common sense about what the messages says, it really means the *kernel* isn't configured to talk to the device. You need to enable multiport sio devices in your kernel config file.
