I'm trying to run Xnest (nested X server) from x.org and getting core dumps with the following message: capella:~[0]% Xnest :1 _XSERVTransSocketOpenCOTSServer: Unable to open socket for inet6 _XSERVTransOpen: transport open failed for inet6/capella.domain.ru:1 _XSERVTransMakeAllCOTSServerListeners: failed to open listener for inet6 zsh: segmentation fault (core dumped) Xnest :1 Do I need IPv6 to run it, does anyone know? That :1 is the desired display number, by the way. I use: FreeBSD 5.3-STABLE #0: Wed Nov 10 13:26:32 MSK 2004 xorg-nestserver-6.7.0 xorg-server-6.7.0_9
