HI,

I'm trying to connect a Multi-tech 28.8 kbps to a Free BSD machine
unsuccessfully.

Here's an extract of my /etc/modems file:

mt932|multitech|mt|Multitech
932:dial_command=ATDT%s\r:hangup_command=ATH\r:\
 :echo_off_command=ATE0\r:reset_command=ATZ\r:\
 :init_string=AT$BA0$SB38400&E1&E4&E13&E15Q0V1X4E0S0=0\r:\
 :escape_sequence=+++:hw_flow_control:lock_baud:intercharacter_delay#50:\

 :intercommand_delay#250:escape_guard_time#500:reset_delay#2000:

Here's en extract of my /etc/remote file:

tip28800|Dial any number:\
:dv=/dev/cuaa0:br#28800:at=mt932:pa=none:du:

When trying to place a phone call from the command line, the error
message is "Cannot synchronize with mt932".

The Modem model is 2834ZDX (Multi-tech 28.8 kbps)

Hhhhhhhheeeeeeeeelllllllllpppppppp.

Best Regards,

Stephane Barde
