Running BSD 5.4/RELEASE on Sparc64. I am having problems installing PHP from the ports collection. The problem affects both PHP 4.4.0 and 5.0.5, the current versions of PHP. The same error occurs in both. The error I am getting has to do with /usr/include/rpc_msg.h The final output from "make" is: /bin/sh /usr/local/warez/ports/lang/php5/work/php-5.0.5/libtool --silent --preserve-dup-deps --mode=compile cc -Iext/standard/ -I/usr/local/warez/ports/lang/php5/work/php-5.0.5/ext/standard/ -DPHP_ATOM_INC -I/usr/local/warez/ports/lang/php5/work/php-5.0.5/include -I/usr/local/warez/ports/lang/php5/work/php-5.0.5/main -I/usr/local/warez/ports/lang/php5/work/php-5.0.5 -I/usr/local/include/libxml2 -I/usr/local/include -I/usr/local/warez/ports/lang/php5/work/php-5.0.5/TSRM -I/usr/local/warez/ports/lang/php5/work/php-5.0.5/Zend -O -pipe -c /usr/local/warez/ports/lang/php5/work/php-5.0.5/ext/standard/crypt.c -o ext/standard/crypt.lo In file included from /usr/include/rpc/rpc.h:59, from /usr/include/crypt.h:9, from /usr/local/warez/ports/lang/php5/work/php-5.0.5/ext/standard/crypt.c:31: /usr/include/rpc/rpc_msg.h:66: error: syntax error before numeric constant *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/local/warez/ports/lang/php5/work/php-5.0.5. *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/local/warez/ports/lang/php5. *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/local/warez/ports/lang/php5. -- Mark J.
